Why This Matters
And Why We Need Your Help Now
In Cameroon, more than 400,000 people living with HIV rely on support that is currently at risk. PEPFAR provided 38% of funding for Cameroon’s HIV-AIDS response programs. The freeze in U.S. foreign aid has destabilized the entire healthcare system, leaving many without the critical resources and care they need.
The recent funding pull-back by the US means:

Essential medications, viral load tests, and PrEP supplies are at risk.

2,332 healthcare workers could lose their jobs

347 clinics risk closing
MotoAction has been a key player in filling these gaps for nearly two decades, by providing treatment access, essential health information, and community outreach. Now, with the digital space becoming more vital than ever, we need to upgrade our online platforms to continue delivering life-saving content and support.
